Laura Alkmím, 20, is a visual artist born and based in Belo Horizonte. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts (major in painting) at the School of Fine Arts of the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). In her research, she investigates human relationships and, through pictorial experimentation with different techniques and materials, proposes contemplation and reflection on the themes of affection and (dis)memory.
