Born in Pernambuco, J.R. Helios is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the surreal and the fantastic. He creates magical worlds that serve as a canvas for themes ranging from spirituality to the human psyche. Currently a Bachelor's student and technician in Visual Arts at the IFPE (Federal Institute of Pernambuco), his works have been exhibited at prestigious venues such as MAMAM (Museum of Modern Art Aloísio Magalhães) and the Casa de Portinari Museum. As he puts it: "In a fantastic world, we can be free to show our true essence."
