How did your journey into the art world begin?
I began my journey 3 years ago when I was studying philosophy and mysticism, and I was beginning my journey of self-knowledge, and I felt the need for something to express everything I couldn't explain. I started following the work of the artist John Beckley, recommended by a friend, and I was very intrigued because he used several unusual materials and planted a seed that grew. Months later, I bought several materials and began to paint instinctively on my own, but I felt the lack of a theoretical basis. That's why I started the painting course at the Brazilian Academy of Art in 2022 and since then I haven't stopped painting and improving myself. During the course, I explore all the techniques and materials that greatly expand my creativity and vision as an artist.

What themes do you prefer to explore in your works?
My creative process is organic and fluid; most of the time, I don't follow predefined scripts. In the first two years, I experimented with the universe of geometric shapes and rationality. In the last year, I started working with contemporary art with all its freedom, and I immersed myself in the intensity of human emotions and experiences. I feel that I always approach my spirituality and my conception of the mystical universe and human nature by uniting body, mind and spirit to compose the works.

What materials and techniques do you use most often?
I really enjoy painting on canvas with acrylic paint because of its versatility and quick drying. I also use artistic clay to incorporate textures and layers throughout the development of the work. I make great use of the multipurpose marker that brings a playful side to the process. Glazing and diluting the paints are frequent techniques in my works, bringing fluidity to the creation.
What is the meaning of art in your life?
Art is vital, healing and indispensable. It brings me energy and freedom to communicate with the world through the canvas. It helps me to bare my mind and soul and hone my intuition, which certainly brings me a sense of fulfillment and fulfillment.
