I believe that when I was still a pre-teen and encouraged by an Art Education teacher, I started attending a Free Atelier that existed at the Alliance Française in Santos. Soon I entered my first Art Salon and that was it.

What is your creative process like?
My creative process happens through some insights that can occur while reading a book, listening to music or even watching the news on TV. Ideas, observations, intersections, associations, etc.

What materials and techniques do you use most often?
The choice of materials is also a conceptual part of my "creative process". As I am an "objectualist" artist, many materials and techniques are used in the construction of my works.
Who are the artistic influences that have impacted your work?
I think that a type of art that I call "courageous" (parallel and avant-garde) that has been happening since the first decades of the 20th Century and throughout the century, until today, and that gave rise to what we call Contemporary Art.
What is the meaning of art in your life?
Priesthood.

What advice would you offer to artists just starting out?
Try to learn about the History of Art and visit many exhibitions, biennials, etc.
What is the role of the artist in today's society?
In the case of the visual artist, unfortunately none.
Have you participated in any notable exhibitions that you would like to share?
Yes, several. The most recent was a collective exhibition that I participated in 2023, alongside some artists who were references in my training, and which took place at the Contemporary Arts Center in Cincinnati, USA. An honor!
