My artistic research is structured around the creation of anthropological fables, creating a particular universe of anthropomorphic bestiaries and symbols intrinsically diluted in intriguing references that move towards the sensorial and subjective through the conjunction and peculiar association of artistic techniques and metaphors that can be read, based on these chromatic, spatial and sensorial combinations, of poiesis as attempts to understand and abstract traumas and clashes that marked my childhood and the gaps in my memory. Visual manifestos that represent the relationships between the imaginary and the memories I never had. In my artistic compositions, whether in extramural art, as a form of formal and conceptual contestation and innovative artistic mapping, in paintings, illustrations, installations, and sculptures that are consolidated in a literature without drafts.

How did your journey into the art world begin?
I began my artistic journey as a teenager, in the 2000s through Graffiti, I connected with this artistic universe and naturally my research moved towards what I now call Anthropological Fables, moving through drawing, engraving, painting, sculptures and extra-muros art.

What is your creative process like?
I like the challenge of improvisation, where, faced with a “blank” support, I give shape to my ideas that permeate my research. Even though I really enjoy the practice of drawing, I like the exercise of creating through improvisation and what surrounds my mind when producing.

Who are the artistic influences that have impacted your work?
Bosch, Klimt, Egon Schiele, Van Gogh, Lautrec, Frida, Gauguin, Magritte among others.
What is the meaning of art in your life?
Art has changed the way I understand the world, it has changed my life, it has allowed me to create and also to contemplate and get to know the works of artists I admire. I also believe that through the classes I teach to children and teenagers, art can change the perception of the world and create new horizons for a better future.
